A meaningful connection to nature is a human right
– Being in nature helps to relax the mind and release the stress from our busy lives.
My name is Andrea, I am 37 and I live in Italy and with my wife and two beautiful children. We spend a lot of time together in nature; camping, hiking, stand up paddling, pack rafting, canoeing and cooking. Nature conveys something positive to people, it helps to relax the mind and release the stress from our busy lives.
I believe all people should have access to this and that is why I created a project called ‘natureing‘ which allows people with intellectual disabilities to get out and experience nature on their terms.
The Trangia stove has a been a great support for my adventures, both with my family and natureing excursions. To gather around and eat together is always the highlight of the day.
I remember one day last summer at the river, we cooked 18 angus burgers and paddled all afternoon. It turned out to be a very memorable Trangia moment for all who took part.
