Description
Multi disc Ø210 mm, for Trangia stove 25 Large.
Disc that can be used in multiple ways, including as a colander, cutting board, base for use on snow, lid after cooking and transportation protection for frypan. Made from heat-resistant and food-contact approved polyamide, PA66. Do not use the disc as a lid while cooking, it can melt if it comes in direct contact with the heat source.

I thought this would be an ideal piece of kit to add to my 25yr old 25 Duossal stove. Its ideal to use to drain the saucepans or as lid to the two saucepans when off the heat of the stove. So it does what it says on the tin but…
I kind of think that they have missed a trick here. This might be better if it was aluminium or steel and also large enough to also cover the frying pan. This will enable it to be used as a saucepan lid or a frying pan splatter guard whilst on the stove as well as a drain. You could also sit your plate / mess tin on top to keep food warm while waiting or the rest of your food to cook below!
I know you can use the saucepan upside down as a lid on the saucepans while cooking, but I’ve always thought I could do with something for the frying pan. This would make the multi disc much more useful.
