Kittelstödet är gjort i något tunnare tråd än själva hållaren för brännaren. Stödet ligger inte löst ovanpå utan spänns fast.
Jag hade hoppats kunna använda en 750 ml kastrull i titan då den gick ner lätt mellan “klackarna” på ovansidan av plåtarna men med kittelstödet fastklämt blir måttet något för litet och kastrullen står ostadigt.
Annars är det en mycket bra idé och Trangia har ju angivit korrekta mått, det var bara jag som hoppades. Det finns annars både större och mindre byttor som fungerar bra.
Triangeln blir dessutom stabilare även om den var stabil nog tidigare

I absolutely love this thing, and I literally use it every morning to make my breakfast outside hanging out with my dog,
Along with a Trangia spirit burner this was my first purchase and it is absolutely money well spent. It took a couple of attempts to get the hang of putting it together but once you get the hang of it then it’s super easy to do.
This thing weighs nothing, folds up tiny and is strong enough that you could probably stand on it without hurting it.
Brilliant engineering, job well done Trangia.

I haven’t seen these for sale in the UK yet, but as soon as I saw it I ordered it through the Trangia website. This was exactly what I needed as an upgrade from my Trangia Triangle, as it now allows me to position smaller pots on the Triangle without issue. Previously I would use a couple of tent pegs which was OK, but not ideal.
This solves that problem and it works well. I’ve given this 4/5 however simply because the “Pan stand Triangle” fits too snugly on the Triangle; this isn’t a problem when cooking/boiling water, but is an issue when you need to extinguish the flame with the simmer ring as it’s very awkward to get it onto the burner to put it out. Also, you need to put it on before you light the burner as it would be impossible to get it on safely once you’ve lit the burner due to the tight fit (I tried this and had to stop myself!).
If the fit was very slightly loose it would be better so that you could take the Pan stand off (or put it on) whilst the burner was on with a pair of pliers (or knock it off with a stick). This would be a big improvement as when you’re lightweight backpacking you don’t want to waste any fuel, so being able to extinguish the burner effectively (with the simmer ring) and thereby being able to reclaim unused fuel would be advantageous. Also a loose fit would allow you to put it on once the burner has started, just in case you forget to fit it and light the burner.
On balance however it’s well worth having as it weighs virtually nothing and fits nicely into the sack of the Triangle Stove.
