Description
Spirit burner for alcohol-based fuels. Easy to use due to its simple construction, has no loose parts that can break and is maintenance free. The simmering ring regulates the heat and is used to save fuel or to extinguish the flame. The burner is made from brass and the wick inside is made from 100% cotton. Yellow bag is included.
Works in all weather conditions. In severe cold, from about +5C a Winter attachment with Preheater can be used which makes it bloom faster and gives better effect (artno 500021)
Fuel:
Use alcohol-based fuel only. Never use gasoline or other petroleum based fuels as this may result in serious injury and damage the wick inside the burner.
The name of suitable spirit fuel varies around the world. For more info please read the instructions and see the list of suitable fuels, fuel list →. In Sweden we recommend using T-Tenol from the brand Kemetyl as a first choice.
Fuel consumption:
One filling 100 ml (max. 2/3 of its maximum volume) will burn for approx. 25 min. Boils 1 Litre of water in 10 min (this varies according to weather and quality of fuel).
Output: 1000 w/ 3500 btu

Spirit burner B25
Excellent burner, use the simmering ring to fry an egg, without it frying bacon.
Handy hint: to make any soot easier to remove, premix 5% water with methylated spirits for easy cleanup.
I always like to keep matches, steel wool and a tea towel in my teapot.
När ”gas-kompisarna” kämpar på i stark vind med sina ljudliga och ”snabba” gasbrännare njuter jag av trangians tysta låga och inom kort en kopp nykokt kaffe. Blir inte mer friluftsliv än så. Njut av tystnaden och lugnet med spritbrännaren!
When I started hiking, I was wondering about a stove for the winter, I saw a guy on YouTube who was hiking with his dog all the way to the Canadian border. He used an alcohol stove, but it seemed to me that such a stove was not very powerful until I started using the X-boil. Trangia B25 is a good burner, it works well. I was fascinated when I found out that it has been produced since 1925. I tasted today triangle with B25, it works very well.
