Description
TRANGIA STOVE 25 LARGE is our larger stove, perfect for 3-4 people. All our stoves in series 25 include two saucepans sized 1.75 and 1.5 liters, a frying pan, a windshield (upper and lower part), burner, handle and strap. Kettle 0.9 liters is included depending on the model, and you can choose between spirit or gas burner.
The collection includes several complete combinations with different materials in the windshield and different combinations of materials in pots and frying pans
THE WEIGHT of each stove set varies and is most significantly affected by your choice to include kettle or gas burner.
THE DIMENSIONS of all stoves 25 Large are the same: when packed away they are 22 cm in diameter and 10.5 cm high.
ACCESSORIES Trangia stove 25 sets can be complemented with pots and pans made from various materials, cases, multi-disc, and several other practical accessories.

Well put together, everything is just so satisfying down to the woollen pouch for the pan-handle. And thanks for the flint by the way, I forgot to pack a lighter and it came in very handy; after a long day cycling I didn’t fancy trekking to the shops from the shelter.
My Trangia and me…
I’m 64 now and I’ve been a photographer, cycleturist, trekker and climber for my whole life. Trangia has been my companion in countless places, like the Andes, the Patagonia, the Himalayas, Karakorum, Pamir, Tibet, Ladakh, Zanzkar, Khumbu, also through deserts like the Sahara, the Atacama, the Taklamakhan and Salars of Uyuni, Djerid and Atacama. As you can image, I like isolated place and remote routes. I’ve been cooking dinner on my Tragia safely inside my tent during snowstorms, or in the complete loneliness of the Saharan nights.
I even invented a simple accessory to transform it into an oven and bake bread, when it was impossible to get fresh bread in long thousand-kilometre crossings with no villages. If you’d like, I’d be happy to share some photos of this accessory with you.
I also built myself a kerosene burner, to adapt on Trangia, using spare parts of stoves from the local markets, long before the multi-fuel burners existed, when I was crossings Islamic countries and it was impossible to get alcohol. I’m now starting a bicycle trip through the lake district of Chile and Argentina, but when back home I can share some images with you.
The practical reason I bought a new Trangia now, is that I’ll be travelling with friends and I want to share with them the pleasure I had alone using the best wilderness stove ever. But the personal reason was that you gave me the opportunity to laser printing a phrase on new stoves, and as I have a dream of starting my last long trip when I complete 80 years old, from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego in a two years trip, I’ll carry with me this new Trangia with the phrase I chosen… ” with me, until the day I become stardust again.”

love the the set but that NONstick pan isn’t actually nonstick compared to normal home teflon pan. It look like but doesn’t seem to work like one.
