What is “kokkaffe”?
Kokkaffe is a traditional way of making coffee by mixing coarse ground coffee with hot water. It’s usually prepared in a coffee pot, but any kind of vessel will do. The taste is rich and full-bodied because it’s unfiltered — all the natural oils are preserved. You can’t talk about kokkaffe without mentioning the social aspect of gathering around a fire — the very essence of spending time outdoors with friends!
