Description
Winter attachment for Trangia stove 25 Large or 27 Small. Spirit burner with pre heating cup and a plate in aluminium. In low temperatures, you may need to preheat the spirit burner for optimal efficiency. The preheater warms the burner with its fuel, allowing it to quickly reach full power. It can be used already from outdoor temperatures of +5°C.
• POUR a few drops of fuel onto the absorbent pad in the preheater and attach it under the burner. There is a groove on the burner where the preheater should “click” into place. Try rotating it – if it turns freely, it is correctly positioned.
• FILL the burner with fuel.
• IGNITE the fuel in the preheater and place it together with the burner in the lower part of the windscreen. Work quickly.
• LIGHT the burner and start cooking as usual. The fuel in the preheater will burn out after about two minutes.
• THE FLAME may burn higher than usual just before the preheater runs out; keep a close eye on the stove during this time.

Perfect for quick start up cold morning coffee !!
I’ve used the plate and that’s fine not yet tried the winter attachment but it feels good quality and well designed and fits the burner unit nicely. The burner functions very well.
