Recently sent the following message to the Trangia customer service email address. Awaiting a response. Will update review if/when a response is received.

I recently purchased a Trangia winterization kit, ie, containing an aluminum plate, pre-heater, and alcohol burner.
Unfortunately, the burner I received is defective, see attached image.
In an effort to reduce waste and emissions, I would like to NOT return the entire kit to Amazon — and simply receive a replacement burner directly from the factory.
Can you help me accomplish that goal?

Does everything it promises. A few drops of spirit needs to be lit just 30 seconds before the burner to get a full bloom and efficient heating for cooking. Excellent and good value overall.
